Day 8 : Chartre-sur-loir to Angers

First day out for the new team saw a cold misty start , I regretted the bravado of it "taking a short "! However the mist cleared and the temperature went from 4 degrees to 24 over the course of the day . 

A few of the team were feeling pretty grim having been struck by a nasty stomach bug last night .

Flat smooth roads through wonderful villages with  magnificent chateaux scattered en route led to a great days cycling 58 miles covered , aided by the Kirkpatrick team who have taken on the support role very seriously!!! I think we all put on weight today. Well done all today especially those feeling so bad .
