Day 5 ( day 1 France)

We are in France ! So as you will know the sun will be out and it will take a short !! Wrong ... temp this morning was 3 degrees with rain threatening . 

Fabulous roads with no traffic and a Northerly wind blowing us on our way , first 15 miles went fantastically , then we discovered our route was down a track , after much discussion and having to resort to a map we were on our way ,through  great villages took us to Falaise for lunch . Then the hail started ... couple of chewy reds at lunch ( while we were sheltering you understand) had us into Argentan . 

A walking tour of the town via a few bars has landed us in the the " Bistro Abbey" Because we are highly trained Athletes we need to re fuel especially as snow is forecast for tomorrow.

The spirit of Sands will see us through .
